THE ROLE & TEAM

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised, proactive and client-focused individual to join our Real Estate team as a Legal Support Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced professional environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional administrative and organisational support.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive PA and administrative assistance to our fee earners, helping them maximise their fee-earning potential while ensuring clients receive an outstanding service.

Our Real Estate team advises a wide range of clients across the property sector, supporting matters relating to:

  • Development

  • Investment and Asset Management

  • Commercial Property Transactions

  • Housing and Regeneration

  • Property Management

Working closely with solicitors and partners, you will become an integral part of a collaborative and highly regarded team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acting as a first point of contact for clients, colleagues and external contacts.

  • Managing new client and matter onboarding, including file opening and client inception processes.

  • Supporting fee earners with matter management and general case administration.

  • Managing the accurate and timely delivery of monthly billing requirements.

  • Diary management, including arranging meetings, appointments and key deadlines.

  • Organising travel arrangements and accommodation where required.

  • Preparing and submitting expense claims.

  • Providing reminders and administrative support to help fee earners manage deadlines and priorities.

  • Audio typing and transcription of correspondence and legal documents where required.

  • Assisting with the preparation, formatting and amendment of legal documents and standard correspondence.

  • Maintaining electronic filing systems and ensuring documentation is accurately recorded and stored.

  • Implementing and maintaining efficient administrative systems and processes.

  • Supporting the wider Real Estate team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, adaptable and committed to delivering excellent client service. You will ideally have previous administrative or legal support experience and be comfortable managing multiple priorities.

You will have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

  • The ability to prioritise workloads and meet competing deadlines.

  • A proactive approach and the confidence to work on your own initiative.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications.

  • A professional and client-focused manner.

  • Flexibility and adaptability within a busy team environment.

  • Previous experience within a legal or professional services environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
