As a Deli/Bakery Order Liaison, you will play a critical role in our operations by coordinating orders, deliveries, product availability, and quality across multiple locations. What You'll Do • Vendor & Store Support: Review, approve, and process orders through our business system, ensuring all requirements are met for accurate, timely deliveries and quality products. • Problem-Solving & Delivery Coordination: Identify and resolve delivery issues, including missing, delayed, or incorrect orders, to help ensure stores remain fully stocked with the products they need. • Seasonal & Special Orders: Coordinate with vendors to add seasonal products and manage special ordering needs, including holiday schedules and promotions. • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate order records, prepare order recaps, and manage order reference sheets and other documentation for stores. • Communication & Collaboration: Serve as a key point of contact for store teams, internal departments, and external vendors to ensure clear, timely, and effective communication. • Category & Project Support: Assist with category reviews and participate in projects designed to improve and expand our Deli/Bakery offerings. What You'll Bring • Experience: Previous experience in grocery, deli, bakery, food service, or a related field is preferred but not required. • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to maintain accuracy in order management, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly. • Organization: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. • Communication: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with store managers, suppliers, vendors, and internal teams. • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to work confidently with data and business systems. • Problem-Solving: A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to handle challenges calmly, creatively, and efficiently. • Teamwork: A collaborative approach and willingness to support team members and contribute to shared goals.
