Library Communications Specialist - Remote

The Library Communications Specialist, answers phone calls and/or live chat contacts from patrons of public libraries across North America. We essentially act as the Information Desk for the library, efficiently handling phone based patron inquiries, from the ease and comfort of your home. This position requires : Excellent use of the English language Bi-lingual (Spanish) highly preferred - $1 additional per hour Excellent oral and written communication skills At least 6 months phone based customer service experience Excellent keyboarding and computer skills At least two years post high school education is highly desired Must have reliable, high speed internet connection Schedules: Full-time, evenings & WEEKENDS (Saturdays are mandatory) Weekday, Tues-Fri: 2:30pm EST - 11:00pm EST; Saturday: 9am - 5pm EST All positions must be available to work the initial 5-week training schedule: MON-FRI 8:30AM-5:00PM This is a remote Call Center based position.
