DocketWorks is a legal support platform that connects law firms with vetted International Licensed Attorneys trained on U.S. legal systems, delivering high-quality paralegal services, legal research, client intake support, document preparation, and case management solutions. Our mission is to help law firms reclaim billable hours and scale efficiently by handling the work that slows them down.



Job Details

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST, MST, CST, or EST, depending on the law firm's time zone

Employer: DocketWorks. We pay you, but you will report directly to your U.S. supervising attorney.

Location: 100% remote



Salary and Hours

Note: All prices listed, and all pay administered, are in U.S. dollars ONLY. An ILA's local currency exchange rate will not affect pay.

Full-Time - 40 hours per week

  • $1,350/month during probation
  • $1,500/month thereafter

Three-Quarter-Time - 30 hours per week

  • $975/month during probation
  • $1,125/month thereafter

Half-Time - 20 hours per week

  • $650/month during probation
  • $750/month thereafter

Quarter-Time - 10 hours per week

  • $325/month during probation
  • $375/month thereafter



What You'll Be Doing

Under the guidance of a U.S. attorney, you'll handle real-world paralegal work, including:

  • Legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis
  • Client communication via U.S.-based platforms such as Clio and MyCase
  • Intake coordination and initial fact gathering
  • Ordering and following up on medical, police, or insurance records
  • Drafting demand letters, motions, and discovery responses
  • Organizing case files and setting court calendar deadlines
  • Helping attorneys prepare for trial, depositions, or mediation

Important: You are not allowed to give legal advice or act as an attorney in the U.S. This is strictly paralegal work performed under the supervision of a U.S. attorney.



What You Need to Qualify

  • Licensed attorney in North, Central, or South America
  • High-level Spanish and English fluency, including spoken, read, written, and understood
  • Reliable internet connection with backup
  • Laptop or desktop computer
  • Smartphone
  • Ability to provide documentation verifying your current legal license, enrollment, or professional credentials



Training Provided

We provide 100% FREE training in:

U.S. Paralegal Skills

Legal Practice Area Training, such as:

  • California Personal Injury
  • Florida Family Law
  • New York Estate Planning
  • Texas Immigration Law



This Is a Stable, Long-Term Opportunity To:

  • Full legal name as shown on the credential
  • Country/jurisdiction
  • Licensing or regulatory body
  • License, enrollment, roll, registration, or cédula/professional license number
  • Date admitted/enrolled/licensed
  • Current status, if known


5. Proof of Active Status or Good Standing

Provide proof that your credential is currently active and/or in good standing.

This can include:

  • A good-standing letter
  • Current practicing certificate
  • Official registry profile
  • Regulator verification
  • Similar official proof of your current professional status

Ideally, this documentation should be dated or verified within the last 90 days.


6. Official Verification Information

Provide the official public registry link where your professional status can be verified.

If there is no public registry, please provide:

  • Contact information for the applicable regulator, bar council, law society, licensing authority, or other governing organization
  • Any instructions or information needed for us to verify your status

These documents are requested only to confirm and document your legal credentials for our internal records. We understand that you are not being hired to practice U.S. law or provide independent legal advice. Your international credentials are being verified as part of our International Licensed Attorney qualification and vetting process.
