Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. The counselor will provide individual, couples, and family counseling sessions via secure online platforms, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, maintaining accurate case notes, and coordinating care as needed. The role involves monitoring client progress, offering psychoeducation, and collaborating with other mental health professionals and organizational partners when appropriate. Counselors are expected to uphold ethical standards, ensure client confidentiality, and participate in regular supervision or team meetings to support quality of care. Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mental Health and Psychology, with the ability to apply evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
Demonstrated expertise in Treatment Planning, including assessment, goal setting, and ongoing evaluation of client progress.
Experience in Relationship Counseling, including work with couples, families, and interpersonal dynamics.
Competence in Case Management, including documentation, coordination of services, and referral to appropriate resources.
Active state or country license as a Mental Health Counselor (or equivalent: LMHC, LPC, LCSW, Psychologist, or similar), in good standing.
Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
Comfort with telehealth platforms and digital tools, with reliable internet connectivity for remote work.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills, with a client-centered, culturally sensitive approach.
Ability to work independently, manage a part-time caseload, and maintain professional boundaries in an online environment.
Prior experience with online therapy or multicultural, international client populations is a plus.
