About the Role We are seeking a professional, motivated, and team-oriented Licensed Sales Agent to join our team in a succession role, as part of a planned retirement transition to continue serving an established client base, while looking for opportunities to grow. This is a full-time hybrid position based out of Ilderton, Ontario, reporting to the Manager of Distribution. Key Responsibilities Advise customers, explain coverages, and offer tailored insurance solutions Build strong relationships with your assigned book of customers Generate and action referral opportunities to grow the client book of business Provide professional service and recommendations Work with CSR partner to deliver policies and requests effectively Be the first point of contact for Claim Reporting and liaising with Claims Team Demonstrate sound judgement through frontline underwriting and working closely with Underwriters to determine risk eligibility Participate in company events that support the communities we serve Find innovative and creative ways to connect with today’s Mutual clients The ability to travel on short notice within our primary territory Successful candidates must be able to pass a comprehensive background check This role will require travel. A vehicle, valid Driver’s License and insurance are required. Desired Competencies To join our team, you will ideally: Proactive and positive approach to customer service Sense of urgency and responsiveness Sound decision making and problem-solving skills Superior verbal and written communication skills Qualifications A current and valid General License (OTL), or the ability to obtain one within 30 days. Note: RIBO Licenses can be transferred to an OTL Demonstrated sales skills Having your CIP designation would be an asset Exceptional relationship building and people skills Personal Lines and Commercial insurance knowledge.
