Role Description This is a full-time Life Insurance Agent role based in Kampala with a hybrid work arrangement, combining office-based activities with some work from home. The Life Insurance Agent will identify prospective clients, explain life insurance products, and provide tailored recommendations to meet clients’ protection and savings needs. Daily responsibilities include conducting client meetings, assessing financial needs, preparing and presenting proposals, and following up to complete applications and policy issuance. The role also involves maintaining ongoing relationships with policyholders, responding to inquiries, and providing continuous service to support renewals and policy changes. The Life Insurance Agent will work closely with the Prudential Uganda team to meet sales targets, uphold regulatory and compliance standards, and promote the Prudential brand in the market. Qualifications
Strong expertise in Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage, with proven ability to develop new business and manage client portfolios.
Solid understanding of Insurance products and principles, including life insurance and related financial protection solutions.
Foundational knowledge of Finance, including basic financial planning, budgeting, and risk management concepts.
Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, listen actively, and communicate clearly with diverse clients.
Relevant academic background in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Kampala, managing time effectively between office and remote work.
Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
Prior experience in financial services or insurance is preferred but motivated candidates with strong interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
