Lifecycle Marketing Manager (Email Focus) Own lifecycle strategy through Klaviyo, using data, segmentation, and personalization to grow retention, revenue, and inventory sell-through in a collaborative B2B team. The organization is seeking a highly strategic, data-driven Lifecycle Marketing Manager (Email Focus) to own the end-to-end lifecycle marketing program for our growing B2B wholesale business. This role is responsible for developing the overall lifecycle marketing strategy from content planning and campaign design to automation, segmentation, personalization, reporting, and continuous optimization with email serving as the primary customer engagement channel through Klaviyo. This is far more than an email production role. We're looking for a marketing strategist who understands the entire customer lifecycle and knows how to leverage customer data, advanced segmentation, automation, and personalization to increase acquisition, engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value (LTV). The ideal candidate will build sophisticated lifecycle programs that drive measurable wholesale revenue while continually improving the customer experience. In addition to lifecycle marketing, this role serves as a strategic partner to Merchandising by developing campaigns that maximize inventory productivity and support business objectives. This includes creating targeted strategies for slow-moving inventory, product restocks, new product launches, seasonal collections, promotional events, and high-priority merchandising initiatives. Success in this role will be measured not only by traditional email performance metrics, but also by improvements in customer retention, LTV, inventory sell-through, product engagement, and revenue generated through lifecycle marketing. Additional Key Responsibilities ● Develop strategic email campaigns that support merchandising objectives, including slow-moving inventory, overstocked products, new arrivals, restocks, seasonal collections, and key promotional events. ● Partner with Merchandising to identify inventory opportunities and build targeted customer segments that maximize sell-through while preserving margin. ● Create automated and campaign-based workflows that notify customers of high-demand product restocks, back-in-stock items, category launches, and limited inventory opportunities. ● Utilize customer purchase history and browsing behavior to recommend complementary products, increase average order value, and improve inventory movement across the catalog. ● Analyze product performance alongside customer engagement metrics to recommend lifecycle campaigns that improve inventory turnover and revenue. Must-Haves ● 5+ years of lifecycle, CRM, or email marketing experience with demonstrated ownership of strategy and execution. ● Expert-level proficiency with Klaviyo, including advanced segmentation, automation, personalization, reporting, and flow architecture. ● Proven experience building and optimizing lifecycle marketing programs that drive measurable business results. ● Deep understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, customer retention, and customer lifetime value (LTV). ● Strong experience with audience segmentation, behavioral targeting, and personalized customer journeys. ● Excellent email design and content planning skills with a focus on conversion optimization and user experience. ● Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting performance data and translating insights into actionable marketing strategies. ● Experience managing testing strategies, campaign optimization, and performance reporting. ● Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. ● Experience partnering with Merchandising or Ecommerce teams to develop marketing strategies that improve inventory productivity and product sell-through. ● Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising principles, including promotional planning, product lifecycle management, inventory optimization, and seasonal assortment strategies. ● Proven ability to use customer segmentation and behavioral data to drive demand for slow-moving inventory, product restocks, and high-priority merchandising initiatives. Nice-to-Haves ● Shopify and ecommerce platform experience. ● Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email development. ● Strong understanding of email deliverability, sender reputation, and compliance best practices. ● Experience using AI tools to improve content creation, personalization, segmentation, and marketing efficiency. ● Interest in or experience with collectibles, toys, gaming, pop culture, or consumer products.
