Lifecycle & Retention Marketing Specialist

Eternal Life Elixir

Location: Remote Type: Required to work USA, PDT time zone 9:00 - 5:00 PM.

Reports to: Head of Growth and Chief Brand Officer

About Us We're a fast-growing beverage brand building a media empire, an entertainment outfit while serving the best product to our customers. We work hard and are laser focused on our company goals. This role is for someone who wants early to a fast growing company and is ready to work hard to serve the company.

What We're Looking For We're hiring a Lifecycle & Retention Marketing Specialist, part strategist, part executor… to own everything that happens after someone lands on our list or completes their first order. You'll start by understanding our subscriber base, flows, segments, and retention economics. From there, you build the strategy, build the systems, and run the calendar. You're not someone who ships a generic welcome flow and calls it done. You're the person who knows why a subscriber churns, what message brings them back, and how to say it in our voice.

You're someone who:

  • Has run email/SMS for an US DTC or CPG subscription brand and can point to LTV, retention rate, or repeat purchase numbers you moved
  • Thinks in flows, segments, and lifecycle stages — not just one-off campaigns
  • Can write compelling copy themselves, or edit it fast, in a brand's specific voice
  • Lives inside Klaviyo (or similar), understands deliverability, and reads flow performance like a second language
  • Uses AI and tooling to ship faster and test more
  • Thinks in experiments, not opinions
  • Has proven track record and grit to get work done.

What You'll Own

Before You Start — Pre-Hire Audit An audit where you get access to our Klaviyo account, subscriber data, flows, and past campaigns. By the end, you've got a clear point of view on where the biggest retention leverage is.

First 30 Days — Move on the Biggest Lever Ship real fixes to whatever you identified as highest-leverage…low rebuilds, segmentation, win-back campaigns, SMS launch, or subscription cancel-flow work. Not a deck.

Days 30–90 — Build the System Stand up the full lifecycle calendar and flow map across email and SMS. Layer in the next biggest lever once the first is humming. Tie it to a 90-day plan with specific retention, LTV, and reactivation targets.

Days 90–180 — Execute & Scale Hit the targets we set together. Build the systems that make the next hire easy. Help define what the in-house lifecycle function looks like as we scale.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years running email and SMS retention for a US DTC subscription brand
  • Numbers you moved and can walk us through: churn, LTV, repeat rate, or subscription retention
  • Deep Klaviyo fluency: flows, segmentation, deliverability, and A/B testing
  • Hands-on experience with a subscription platform (Recharge, Skio, Stayai or similar), including cancel flow and win back work
  • You write the copy yourself, in our voice, and edit fast
  • You use AI tools to ship and test faster, and can show us how
  • You set the calendar. You don't wait for a brief.

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a set-it-and-forget-it flow builder
  • Not an agency, we're hiring a partner
  • Not for someone who needs a polished brief before they can start
  • Not a coast-along role

How We Work Together Clear outcomes set in advance. Weekly working sessions, daily Slack, fast feedback loops. If this works, the role grows.
