Lighting Project Manager- Remote

Salary: $50,000.00 Annually Lighting Project Manager- REMOTE Full Time Summary As the leader of the gear project team, this person is in charge of ensuring that the project succeeds for both the client and Colonial, and is the face to the customer post order commitment. This person is responsible for coordinating all actions related to the project including understanding and meeting all timelines. An analogy for this position is ‘conductor of the orchestra’ where the orchestra are the various negotiations and technical personnel who are creating the Bill of Material (BOM), submitting product details for approval, and entering shipping information into the company’s proprietary software Jobtrack. The PC must respond to all customer inquiries and also enter data as needed to keep the process moving. Here are some examples of activities that need to be overseen: Negotiations with manufacturers Review lighting specifications and drawings Electrical drawings and fixture schedules submittal to the project design team Skills necessary to project coordinate: Ability to use computing skills and knowledge to complete required job tasks Ability to understand technical product specifications and drawings Ability to understand and maintain project accounting Attention to detail, ability to match information and place it accurately Communication, continuous follow up Leadership Impatience High level of responsibility Coordination of all aspects of a project Friendly demeanor QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
