Litigation Associate (3-7 Years Experience)

We are seeking a highly motivated Litigation Associate with 3-7 years of experience to join our Long Island office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation and experience handling matters in both New York State and Federal Courts. This associate will work closely with an experienced partner on a variety of litigation matters and should be comfortable managing multiple cases in a fast-paced environment. The position is primarily onsite, with four days per week in the office and remote work on Fridays.

Compensation

Compensation starts at $150,000+ and is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and billable hour expectations. Additional performance-based compensation opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, required.
• 3-7 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Active admission to the New York Bar, required.
• Experience handling litigation matters in New York State and Federal Courts.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation-related documents.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet competing deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
