- A JD from an accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in at least one of California, Texas, or Florida.
- Ability to run litigation matters independently.
- Direct client-service experience and clear communication.
- Interest in startups and practical use of AI tools in legal work.
Bonus points
- Admission in two of the three priority jurisdictions.
- Employment, consumer protection, class action, or mass-tort experience.
- Experience in a startup, legal aid, or non-traditional legal setting.
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary: USD 130,000 to 160,000 per year.
- Equity: 0.15-0.5%.
- A bonus structure is available.
- The equity interest is in the associated corporate entity through an advisor agreement.
Location and work model
- Remote, based in the United States.
- California, Texas, and Florida are the stated priority locations and bar jurisdictions.
- Travel approximately once per quarter to Brooklyn, New York, or conferences.
- Flexible working hours around case commitments.
