■Overview

The company is seeking an engineer to lead the development and real-world implementation of solutions that solve actual societal challenges by leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies, such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and Vision-Language Models (VLMs). This is a highly rewarding role offering significant autonomy, driving clients' digital transformation (DX) through technological expertise.

【Responsibilities】

As a core member of the Advanced AI Development Department, the engineer will handle a wide range of responsibilities, from client-facing operations to enhancing the company's internal technical capabilities.

1. Solution Development & Consulting Utilizing LLMs

❖ System & Product Development (Architecture, Implementation, & Management)

・Handles the end-to-end AI development pipeline, including data collection and preprocessing, model selection, fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment to on-premises and cloud environments.

・Project Examples: R&D support for traffic safety utilizing Vision-Language Models (VLMs); Performance optimization of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for financial institutions.

❖ Generative AI Consulting (Requirements Definition & Project Execution)

・Gathers customer needs and technical requirements, serving as a DX partner to support generative AI implementation from a technical standpoint.

・Project Example: Adoption and optimization support for generative AI within financial institutions.

2. Project Proposals & Technical Negotiations

❖ Conducts technical research and analysis to address underlying customer needs, proposing optimal AI-driven solutions.

3. Contributions to Internal Technical Capability Enhancement

❖ Knowledge Sharing & Assetization

・Systematizes learnings gained from client projects into internal documentation and shared repositories, driving technical excellence across the organization.

❖ Tracking & Disseminating Advanced Technologies

・Leads team-wide skill development through organizing and presenting at internal study sessions and technology workshops.

■Required

・Development experience using Python, PyTorch, and other machine learning libraries

・Experience in developing large-scale language models (such as LLMs and VLMs) in at least one of the following areas (①–③):

① Experience in algorithm, product, or system development (proposal, design, implementation, and development management) for projects utilizing large-scale language models

② Experience improving the performance of large-scale language models (data creation, RAG, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, optimization for speed and efficiency, accuracy and performance evaluation)

③ Experience building systems that include large-scale language models (on-premises and cloud environments)

・Knowledge of and development experience with natural language processing (NLP)

・Experience with team-based development using version control tools (Git)

・Experience communicating technical details and making technical proposals to sales teams and clients

■Preferred

・Knowledge and development experience in image processing (image recognition AI, classical image processing)

・Experience deploying and operating machine learning models

・Knowledge and experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

・Experience designing and operating databases (SQL/NoSQL)

・Ability to read technical documents and communicate in English

・Ability to stay abreast of the latest research papers and technical trends and apply them to practical work
