Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Support Loan Processor with a strong background supporting Australian finance brokers, lenders, or lending businesses. This is a highly client-facing role requiring someone who can take ownership of a client and their finance application following the initial introduction and confidently manage the process through to settlement. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in consumer lending and personal loans, with asset finance experience being highly advantageous. Responsibilities: Take ownership of clients and finance applications following the initial broker introduction and manage them through to settlement. Conduct comprehensive client fact-finds and gather detailed information regarding income, employment, assets, liabilities, expenses, credit history, and borrowing requirements. Confidently communicate with Australian clients by phone and email throughout the application process. Handle initial client calls for selected consumer finance leads and identify the client's lending requirements. Request, collect, review, and follow up on supporting financial documentation. Assess client information and supporting documents for completeness before submission. Assist with servicing calculations and review income, liabilities, credit reports, and overall client financial positions. Prepare finance applications, quotes, and supporting documentation. Support consumer lending and personal loan applications, with exposure to asset finance matters where required. Work collaboratively with processing team members to progress applications efficiently. Liaise directly with Australian lenders regarding applications, outstanding requirements, approvals, and settlements. Submit and manage applications through lender portals and other finance platforms. Keep clients proactively informed throughout the application, approval, and settlement process. Follow up with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure applications continue progressing. Identify potential issues or missing information early and take appropriate action to resolve them. Maintain accurate CRM, application, and client records. Manage multiple active applications and deadlines with minimal supervision. Deliver a professional, responsive, and high-quality client experience throughout the finance process. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience supporting an Australian finance brokerage, lender, or lending business. Strong experience with Australian consumer lending and personal loans. Asset finance experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of Australian lending processes and lender requirements. Experience conducting detailed client fact-finds and confidently asking clients questions regarding their financial circumstances. Strong understanding of income verification, liabilities, expenses, servicing, credit reports, and supporting documentation. Experience preparing and progressing finance applications from initial information gathering through to settlement. Experience working with Australian lenders and lender portals. Exceptional spoken English is essential, with a confident, natural, and professional telephone manner when communicating with Australian clients. Excellent written English and the ability to prepare professional client and lender correspondence. Strong client relationship management and customer service skills. Sound judgment and the ability to progress applications without requiring constant direction. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple clients and active applications simultaneously. Proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of client outcomes. Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
