Loan Servicing Specialist Hybrid • Mason Main Office - Mason, MI 48854 Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Apply About the Role FLSA Status Non-Exempt Job Summary In search of a highly motivated, forward-thinking individual to join our rapidly growing loan-servicing department. The Loan Servicing Specialist supports the day-to-day servicing of consumer, mortgage, and home equity loans while delivering responsive service to customers, internal teams, investors, and third parties. This role performs a variety of loan servicing functions, including account maintenance, escrow monitoring, payoff processing, insurance claims, loan documentation, and research. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage changing priorities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive customer experience. Job Duties Responds to internal and external operation requests via email and phone, including early phases of delinquency. Responds to customer, investor, or other 3 rd party inquiries. Completes any necessary research and retains documentation in accordance with established guidelines. Monitors and analyzes various escrow accounts including PMI, taxes, flood and hazard insurance. Process insurance loss claims for customers. Performs new loan review and daily maintenance for Consumer, Mortgage and Home Equity Loans. Calculates and prepares payoff statements, verifications and discharges. Prepares and/or records, if necessary, various documents that may include subordinations, modifications, or change in terms agreements. Performs a variety of other duties as assigned. Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience Two to five years previous mortgage servicing, or loan operations required, including time spent in preparatory positions ICE (MSP) experience preferred Skills Able to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment Possess an aptitude for problem-solving Exceptional organizational and time management skills Ability to read and understand loan documents Proficient computer and Excel skills Supervised By Loan Servicing Assistant Manager Supervises None Management retains the discretion to change this job description at any time.
