Local SEO Specialist, GBP & Off-Page

Full-Time | Remote | 4+ hours daily overlap with 9:00am to 3:00pm MST

The company helps high-ticket landscaping, contracting, and home service businesses dominate Google Maps and generate leads. We are lean, results-driven, and AI-forward.

The role

Own Google Business Profile, citations, and link building for service business clients. You have a peer who owns strategy and on-page. You own the Map Pack and the link function, and you co-own the outcome.

What you'll own

• Google Business Profile: posts, photos, services, review response, competitor monitoring
• Citation building and NAP consistency, tier-one and locally relevant only, quality over volume
• Link building end to end: strategy, vendor management, outreach, verification
• Map Pack visibility and domain rating as outcomes you own, not tasks you perform
• CallRail tagging and clean lead attribution
• Co-signing Map Pack keyword targets with your on-page counterpart

How we work

• You own outcomes, not tasks. We don't micromanage, and we don't chase you for updates.
• Any client down 20% or more on Map Pack visibility or calls gets flagged within 24 to 48 hours, with the likely cause and a plan.
• Strong performance leads to more responsibility and more pay.

What you need

• 3+ years running GBP, citations, and link building specifically for local service businesses, not ecommerce or general content SEO
• Proven Map Pack ranking improvements
• Experience managing off-page for multiple clients at once
• Comfortable in Local Dominator or BrightLocal, SEMrush, CallRail
• AI-forward: you already use AI daily for GBP drafting, outreach, and research
• You flag drops and gaps before anyone has to chase you

Structure

• Ramps to 12 to 15 clients as systems mature
• $1,800 to $2,000+/month, performance-based scorecard (deliverables and results)
• Full-time contractor, 100% remote, 14 days PTO
