Logistics Analyst

The Logistics Analyst at SLICK Response Services is a crucial member of our team who oversees the entire lifecycle of our service deliveries. This includes managing supplies, forecasting demand, handling distribution, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, and effecting overall cost-effectiveness. The primary goal for this position is to organize and coordinate the company's logistics operations to ensure timely provision of our services. Responsibilities: Oversee and optimize all facets of our logistics and supply chain processes. This incorporates a wide range of tasks such as managing supplies, forecasting demand, coordinating distribution, and implementing viable cost-reduction strategies. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align logistics strategies with business objectives. This includes close liaison with service teams, suppliers, customers, and logistics partners. Use cutting-edge logistics software and tools to monitor supply chain and logistics operations. Ensure precise tracking, documentation, and analysis of logistics data. Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or areas of improvement in the logistics processes and initiate appropriate solutions. This includes redesigning logistics processes, recommending new logistical tools or technologies, or advocating changes in logistical policies. Prepare comprehensive logistics reports for the management. These reports should highlight the performance of logistics operations against set objectives or benchmarks and suggest areas for further optimization. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A minimum of three years experience in logistics analysis or a similar role in a reputable organization. Expertise in logistics software programs and systems. Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or other Supply Chain Management (SCM) software would be an added advantage. Strong analytical abilities with a knack for identifying nuances and trends in complex data sets. The candidate must exhibit proficiency in leveraging data to make logistic decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The role demands frequent interactions with various stakeholders, therefore the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization is imperative. Possess a solid understanding of industry standards and best practices in logistics and supply chain management. Certification from a recognized logistics or supply chain body would be a phenomenal plus.
