Logistics Coordinator | Remote | Support U.S. Logistics Operations

Compensation: USD $1,400 to $1,600 per month

Location: Latin America, fully remote

Higher Options is hiring a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support U.S.-based businesses remotely.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates clearly, and enjoys coordinating shipments, working with carriers, solving delivery issues, and keeping logistics operations organized.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments from pickup through final delivery
• Schedule pickups, deliveries, and freight appointments with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, and customers
• Track shipments and proactively communicate status updates, delays, and delivery issues
• Request and compare freight quotes and assist with carrier selection
• Maintain accurate shipment records, rates, tracking information, and delivery documentation
• Prepare and review logistics documents such as Bills of Lading, packing lists, proof of delivery, and shipping labels
• Update shipment milestones and order information in Transportation Management Systems and other logistics platforms
• Communicate with carriers, vendors, warehouses, 3PL providers, customers, and internal teams
• Resolve transportation issues, missed appointments, damaged shipments, and other delivery exceptions
• Support inventory coordination, order fulfillment, returns, and warehouse activities when needed
• Monitor carrier performance and help ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
• Assist with freight invoice reviews, billing discrepancies, and additional transportation charges
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, service levels, and operational efficiency

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight coordination, supply chain, or a related role
• Strong written and verbal English
• Experience coordinating shipments and communicating with carriers, vendors, warehouses, or customers
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems such as DAT, Oracle Transportation Management, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with ERP, OMS, WMS, or 3PL systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar tools
• Familiarity with communication and collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
• Customer service experience and knowledge of freight documentation are preferred
• Reliable internet connection and availability during U.S. business hours, depending on the client

Compensation: USD $1,400 to $1,600 per month

Location: Fully remote within Latin America

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Paid time off: Often includes national holidays and paid vacation days, depending on the client.
