About the role:
We are looking for a detail-driven Logistics & Customs Clearance Specialist to manage our US import documentation and support day-to-day supply chain operations. In this role, you will handle customs filings directly—eliminating third-party broker fees—and keep cargo moving smoothly from origin ports to final delivery. You will bridge the gap between carrier coordination, regulatory paperwork, and inventory tracking to ensure accurate, cost-effective import management.
Who you are / What you bring:

They bring a proactive, steady work ethic to their day-to-day execution, thriving in remote environments that demand meticulous task management and clear English communication. They excel at managing multi-step workflows independently, taking full ownership of administrative tasks, and resolving shipping delays before they impact delivery timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, submit, and review in-house US customs clearance documentation accurately to prevent port holds and unnecessary fees.
- Track international shipments end-to-end from departure through warehouse receipt, proactively resolving cargo holds or documentation errors.
- Organize and maintain supply chain compliance files, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and packing lists.
- Execute daily operational logistics tasks, including carrier scheduling, inventory tracking, and shipping log updates.
- Communicate directly with ocean freight carriers, forwarders, and drayage partners to ensure predictable delivery schedules.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks to accelerate documentation turnaround times and reduce transit costs.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business administration, logistics, or related field.
- Professional working proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong self-direction, high task ownership, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace / MS Office (Excel, Sheets) and quick adaptability to digital logistics portals.
Preferred
- Exposure to US-based e-commerce, retail, or distribution operations.
- Basic familiarity with US Customs import documentation or HTS tariff codes.
