We want to film the whole journey - building the product, scaling the team, the wins, the real decisions behind the scenes.

We need a long-form YouTube Editor who can turn raw footage into a story people can't stop watching. Think vlog and lifestyle. Long-form.

This is an Independent Contractor position.

• Own the story: You're not editing random content. You're building the story of a company from day one.

👇 What You'll Do:

• Take hours of raw footage (sometimes just 30 minutes) and cut it into a tight, watchable long-form video
• Build the story around the launch - this is the first big series we need!
• Find the hook in the first 15 seconds. If people click off, we lost.
• Pace each video so people stay to the end. No dead air. No dragging scenes.
• Add music, sound design, and captions that fit the mood.
• Work fast during the launch window. Some weeks will need quick turnarounds.
• Talk directly with our founder and team to get context on what happened and why it matters.

👀 Who You Are:

• Experienced: You've edited long-form YouTube content before. Lifestyle or vlog. Not just short-form clips or ads.
• A storyteller first: You know how to find the story inside hours of footage. Editing skill alone isn't enough.
• Fast with hooks and pacing: You know why viewers leave a video, and you know how to stop them from leaving.
• Independent: You can take raw footage and a rough idea, then deliver a finished video with little hand-holding.
• Proactive: You spot a better cut or a stronger hook without being asked to look for one.
