individee builds Ondeva, a low-code platform that lets our clients build and run production web applications — defining queries, workflows, pages, and emails through a visual builder, without writing code.
We're a small, international team based in Berlin. Everyone here owns their work, talks to each other directly, and helps out when it's needed — that's genuinely how we operate, not something we put on a poster. We're not the right fit for everyone, but if you want real responsibility early and direct access to the people making decisions, you'll feel at home.
About the Role
We're hiring a Low-Code Developer to build client applications on Ondeva and grow into a fully independent contributor. You don't need prior low-code or software development experience. We will train you on Ondeva from the ground up. What we can't train is how you think — that's what we're hiring for.
This is a strong fit if you're coming from a structured, logic-heavy background and want to move into tech: think QA testing, business or systems analysis, data-heavy operations, technical support, or similar. If you've spent time building complex spreadsheet logic, mapping business processes, writing test cases, or translating messy requirements into structured solutions — you already think the way this job requires.
What You'll Do
- Learn and build client web applications in Ondeva (queries, workflows, pages, forms, emails) — full structured training provided
- Work within our Scrum sprints alongside the broader Ondeva team
- Translate customer business needs into working solutions — you'll interface with clients directly as you grow into the role
- Write clear documentation for customers and teammates
- Be honest — if something doesn't make sense, say so
What We Expect From You
- 1–2 years of professional experience in any role that required structured, logical thinking — this does not need to be in software or tech
- Demonstrable aptitude for logic and structure — you're comfortable with conditional thinking, process mapping, data relationships, or similar in any context (spreadsheets, test case design, business rules, etc.)
- Self-directed — you can work through problems independently, manage your own tasks, and don't need constant supervision to stay on track
- Fluent English, spoken and written
- Detail-oriented — the end result needs to look and work right, not just technically function
- Comfortable in a small team where things move fast and priorities shift without a formal process change document to follow
Nice to Have
- German (B1+) — we work with both English- and German-speaking customers, so it's a genuine plus
- Any prior exposure to low-code/no-code tools, SQL, or structured data work
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role
What We Offer
- Salary: €36,000–€40,000, based on experience
- Structured onboarding — we have real technical documentation, clear processes, and an experienced team around you. You won't be thrown in and left to sink
- Salary reviewed at 12 months — if you've grown into the role and are performing, your compensation reflects it. We don't make vague promises about growth; we make specific ones
- Flat hierarchy, direct access to leadership
- Hybrid work, flexible schedule
- Yearly performance bonus, regular team events
A Note on the Salary
We're a small company and we're honest about it — €36,000–€40,000 is a junior entry point, not a mid-market rate. What we're offering in return is structured training on a niche, in-demand skill set, real ownership of client-facing work earlier than you'd get anywhere larger, and a clear 12-month review tied to your actual performance. If that trade-off works for where you are in your career right now, we want to hear from you.
