Job Description LTA (Licence to Alter) Administrator About the Role We are looking for an LTA (Licence to Alter) Administrator to join our Licensing team and support the management of Licence to Alter applications across our UK property portfolios. This role would suit a qualified LLB professional with some experience working in a law firm who is looking to develop their legal career within a specialist property environment. Property experience is advantageous , but not essential. You will be responsible for reviewing leases and legal documentation, preparing legal notices and consents, coordinating with solicitors and other professionals, and managing applications through to completion. What You'll Be Doing Managing Licence to Alter applications from start to finish. Reviewing leases, contracts and supporting legal documentation. Drafting notices, licences and letters of consent. Reviewing architectural drawings and other supporting information. Liaising with solicitors, surveyors, engineers, leaseholders and property managers. Coordinating inspections, documentation and final sign-off. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring matters progress within required timeframes . Supporting HMO and other property licensing applications where required. What we looking for South African LLB or BProc qualification. Some experience working within a law firm or legal environment . Strong written communication and legal drafting skills. Ability to understand and interpret legal documentation. Excellent attention to detail and organisation. Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines. Confident communicating with a range of professional stakeholders. Good Microsoft Office skills. Must reside in the Western Cape. Property or leasehold experience would be an advantage, but is not essential Salary & Benefits Working Hours: 09:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday Location: Western Cape, South Africa Salary: R22,000 – R25,000 per month, depending on experience Contract: Permanent Please Note Applicants must be based in Cape Town or surrounding areas, with reliable internet connectivity and the ability to attend occasional in-person meetings.
