As their exclusive recruitment partner, we are seeking a visionary and operationally sharp Luxury Small Group Departures Manager to lead, scale, and refine their signature group travel portfolio.

The Role Purpose

In this pivotal leadership role, you will take full ownership of the Small Group Departures department. You will blend creative itinerary design with commercial strategy, ensuring every journey meets profitability targets while delivering the flawless, high-touch service guests expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Financial Analysis: Partner with senior leadership to finalize high-end trip launches. Drive the department’s profitability through precise revenue/profit forecasting and rigorous cost management.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee a team of travel executives to build detailed itineraries and execute complex trip logistics. Ensure maximum profit margins without compromising on guest satisfaction.
• Team Leadership & Scaling: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of Travel Concierges and operations executives.
• Sales & Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with internal private travel designers, manage B2B relationships to sell journeys through external agency channels, and coordinate with marketing teams for high-impact promotions.
• Global Expansion Support: Actively support the strategic launch and scaling of similar luxury group tours into the China market.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven Travel Leadership: Demonstrated management experience within travel operations, tour commanding, or luxury hospitality.
• Sophisticated Travel IQ: Deep personal travel experience and an intrinsic understanding of what ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) or sophisticated travellers demand.
• Commercial & Project Acumen: Strong financial literacy (costing, pricing, forecasting) paired with sharp project management skills.
• Problem-Solving & Creativity: A creative mind capable of designing unique travel concepts and a calm, decisive problem-solver when operational challenges arise.
• Meticulous Detail: Exceptional organisational skills where no detail is too small.
