This role is focused on the architecture and governance of Microsoft 365 operational, configuration, telemetry, and usage data. The architect will help define how data is collected, integrated, monitored, stored, and consumed across various platforms, including both commercial and internally developed tools. The environment leverages monitoring and analytics platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Power BI, and homegrown tooling to monitor Microsoft 365 workloads including Teams, OneDrive, and other collaboration platforms. A key objective is creating a centralized "golden copy" of configuration and usage data and designing the monitoring and alerting strategy around that data. The architect will help identify configuration drift, define monitoring standards, and re-architect logging and telemetry capabilities across the environment.
