M&A Integrations Sr Project Manager

We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the integration of acquired businesses into our global enterprise. In this highly visible role, you’ll bring structure to complex integrations, aligning teams across the business to turn strategy into action, navigate change, and deliver lasting business value.

You’ll serve as a central point of coordination, building and executing integration plans, anticipating challenges, and continuously improving how we work. Along the way, you’ll partner with experts across the business, take on real responsibility, and help shape how we build what’s next at C.H. Robinson.

For this role, we have a preference for candidates located near our Eden Prairie, MN, or Chicago, IL offices, where there are opportunities for in-person connection and collaboration. However, we’re open to fully remote candidates and will prioritize finding the right person for the role.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Lead multiple, large-scale, and complex integration projects, translating strategic priorities into actionable plans and driving execution across cross-functional teams

• Own critical project documentation, including project charters, plans, process flows and value stream maps, resource requirements, and business cases

• Bring together internal and external stakeholders around shared priorities, deliverables, dependencies, and decisions, building trust through clear and consistent communication

• Drive projects forward to deliver quality solutions on time and within budget, taking ownership of outcomes, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and escalating when appropriate

• Lead teams through change by influencing without direct authority, welcoming different perspectives, and constructively challenging the status quo to achieve stronger outcomes

• Track, manage, and communicate project progress and financial performance, including resource requirements, budget-to-actual performance, key milestones, and project outcomes

• Apply a continuous improvement and builder mindset to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and strengthen the tools, processes, and ways of working that support successful integrations

• Partner with experts across the business to transfer knowledge, strengthen organizational capabilities, and mentor project team members

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, with the proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Ability to work flexible hours (some weekend/late hours may be required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional certification

• Work and/or project experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics

• Strong communication skills: strong listener with exceptional facilitation skills and the ability to tell the story and connect to your audience

• Ability to organize, design, develop, and deliver projects for internal and external audiences at all levels

• Ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts internally and externally at all levels

• Experience working and thriving in a continuous improvement environment

• Experience and comfort in dealing with ambiguity and able to deliver with minimal oversight

• Experience working directly with customers

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

• Experience with lean processes and tools

Compensation Range

$77,000.00 - $173,600.00

The base pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by work location, which takes into account geographic cost of labor, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base pay only and do not include additional variable compensation.
