Innovexis is seeking a Machine Learning Intern to join our team in Bengaluru on a fully remote, internship basis. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Information Technology industry, working alongside experienced data scientists and engineers on real-world machine learning projects.

As a Machine Learning Intern at Innovexis, you will contribute to the design, development, and evaluation of machine learning models that power intelligent solutions for our clients and products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform data into actionable insights, participating in projects that span data preprocessing, model training, and performance evaluation in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing datasets for machine learning tasks
• Support the design, training, and evaluation of machine learning models
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers on ongoing projects
• Write clean, maintainable code for data pipelines and model development
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and insights
• Document experiments, results, and methodologies clearly
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Stay current with emerging machine learning techniques and tools
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in model training and data workflows
• Contribute to reports and presentations summarizing findings

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
• Foundational knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development
• Experience or coursework with libraries such as NumPy, pandas, or scikit-learn
• Basic understanding of data preprocessing and feature engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus
• Exposure to version control tools like Git is preferred
