Location: Due to GDPR requirements, the customer prefers consultants based in Europe. However, exceptionally strong profiles outside Europe may be considered on a case-by-case basis. For candidates located outside Europe, we will therefore only proceed with profiles that are an exceptionally strong match.
Responsibility
The consultant will be responsible for:
Monitor and analyze mainframe performance using RMF, SMF, OMEGAMON, and related tools.
Perform capacity planning, forecasting, and resource optimization.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across CPU, memory, I/O, and workloads.
Produce performance reports and provide infrastructure tuning recommendations.
Collaborate with z/OS, CICS, Db2, IMS, storage, and application teams.
