Job Type: Full-Time Location Type: Remote Primary Location: Job ID: 15481 Alternate Locations: Newell Brands is a leading consumer products company with a portfolio of iconic brands like Graco®, Coleman®, Oster®, Rubbermaid®, Sharpie® and Yankee Candle® - and 24,000 talented teammates around the world. Our culture is built on values in action: Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Winning, Ownership, and Leadership. We work together to win, grow, and make a real impact—supported by a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative environment where you can be your best, every day. Summary: The Maintenance Digitization & AI Enablement Analyst (Site Lead) plays a critical role in modernizing how maintenance work is performed by enabling the effective use of digital tools, mobile technology, and AI‑supported troubleshooting. This role bridges hands‑on maintenance expertise with emerging digital capabilities. The Site Lead partners closely with technicians, maintenance leaders, and ERA teams to drive adoption of tablets, CMMS workflows, and AI tools that improve equipment uptime, troubleshooting speed, and overall maintenance effectiveness. As a trusted peer leader, this individual acts as the site expert and advocate for digital maintenance practices—coaching technicians on the shop floor, reinforcing standards, and sharing best practices that can be scaled across North American manufacturing sites, with the role expected to expand globally over time (starting in EMEA). Responsibilities: Digital & Technology Enablement Support deployment, setup, and day‑to‑day use of handheld and tablet devices for maintenance technicians. Enable the use of AI‑supported troubleshooting tools, including image‑based diagnostics and guided problem‑solving. Serve as the primary on‑site expert for maintenance digital tools, working closely with ERA, IT, and Maintenance Leadership. AI & Digital Tool Adoption Coach technicians on how to leverage AI tools to diagnose issues, reduce trial‑and‑error, and complete work orders more efficiently. Reinforce consistent use of digital maintenance workflows within CMMS and related platforms. Identify opportunities where AI and digitization can reduce downtime, improve first‑time‑fix rates, or simplify maintenance execution. Training, Coaching & Change Leadership Provide hands‑on, peer‑to‑peer training to technicians during shifts and planned learning sessions. Develop and maintain simple job aids, quick‑reference guides, and best‑practice examples tailored to site needs. Act as a change champion—helping technicians understand why digital tools matter and how they support safer, faster, and more reliable work. Adoption, Compliance & Performance Support Monitor adoption of tablets, CMMS workflows, and AI tools across the maintenance team. Partner with maintenance leadership to address gaps in usage, capability, or compliance. Support tracking of leading indicators such as tool utilization, work order quality, and troubleshooting cycle time. Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing Provide structured feedback to ERA and enterprise teams on tool performance, usability, and enhancement opportunities. Capture lessons learned, success stories, and practical use cases that can be replicated at other sites, including future expansion into EMEA and other regions. Contribute to regional or enterprise forums to share best practices and support broader digitization efforts. Qualifications: Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or trade school training strongly preferred. 3–7 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment and understand end‑to‑end maintenance processes. Technical & Digital Skills Experience using CMMS systems and executing digital work orders. Strong comfort with tablets, mobile devices, and basic digital applications. Curiosity and aptitude for learning new technologies, including AI‑enabled tools and digital workflows. Leadership & Professional Capabilities Proven peer leadership with the ability to influence without formal authority. Strong communication skills—able to translate technical concepts into practical guidance for technicians. Continuous improvement mindset with a bias toward practical, scalable solutions. Self‑directed, accountable, and comfortable operating in a newly evolving role. Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer’s, Oster, NUK, Spontex and Campingaz. We are focused on delighting consumers by lighting up everyday moments. Newell Brands and its subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers and comply with applicable employment laws.
