Role Description The Maintenance Foreman role is a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing maintenance activities across equipment, plants, and waste management facilities. The person in this role will coordinate and supervise maintenance teams, assign tasks, monitor work quality, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards. Daily responsibilities include planning and implementing preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting equipment issues, and organizing repairs to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Foreman will maintain records of maintenance work, collaborate with operations teams to support efficient service delivery, and assist in continuous improvement of maintenance procedures. This role also involves communicating clearly with stakeholders, providing guidance and training to team members, and supporting compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team coordination, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess Equipment Maintenance and general Maintenance skills for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance and Plant Maintenance skills to plan and execute maintenance schedules and maintain facility reliability.
• Relevant experience in industrial, waste management, or environmental services maintenance operations is beneficial.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and the ability to apply safe work practices.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Technical certification or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
