Description This position, employed by Music Event Management Incorporated (MEMI), is a hybrid role requiring employees to perform overnight grounds maintenance and daytime maintenance work. On event nights, they’ll work an overnight shift as part of a small team, led by a Crew Leader, to clean and reset Riverbend Music Center and other MEMI properties including Andrew J. Brady Music Center, Taft Theater and Rose Music Center at the Heights. In the absence of event cleanup responsibilities, they will be assigned to daytime Maintenance Technician work. This role requires a firm commitment to covering overnight shifts and filling out the remainder of your schedule with day shifts as needed. Pay varies by shift type (see below). Shifts: (Hybrid 3rd and 1st shift) Responsibilities Overnight Grounds Crew Responsibilities: Empty, clean, move, and reline all trash cans and waste receptacles, including those in the concourse and backstage areas Perform a preliminary clean of the walkable areas and lots on Riverbend's newly expanded property Clean and pressure wash seated areas, often with a firehose Move necessary facility equipment including temporary barricade, lounge furniture, beach umbrellas, tables, and chairs Sweep, pick up, and dispose of debris on the venue lawn, blacktop, and within the seated areas Use landscaping equipment to gather debris into a central pickup location Clean and sanitize restrooms using provided hands-free equipment Use walk-behind and Ride-on floor machines to sanitize house floors Other duties as assigned Daytime Maintenance Tech Responsibilities: Pressure washing Painting Minor repairs Vehicle maintenance Oil changes, tire repairs and changes, routine inspections and log updating Work with hand and small power tools Drills, sanders, saws, sprayers Other duties as assigned Requirements Attention to detail and efficient time management skills Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions for shifts up to 10 hours Understanding and willingness to work around events including weekends, nights, and some holidays Firm commitment to working overnight shifts and filling out the remainder of the schedule with day shifts when needed Ability to walk and stand for the duration of a scheduled shift Capability to lift up to 40–50 lbs. Ability to work in small groups of up to 4 people Scheduling Requirements: Overnight shifts: start times 9pm–10pm, 10-hour duration, scheduled based on show needs Day shifts (Maintenance Tech): scheduled when no overnight event work is available (8am-4pm) Hours: 32-40 hours per week Compensation: Overnight Grounds Crew: $20/hr Daytime Maintenance Tech: $16.50/hr Pay differential applies based on shift type
