Your Responsibilities Scour the internet to identify, research, and write up-to-the-minute news stories regarding software updates, device launches, and emerging technology trends. Extract the core of a story quickly to deliver informative and timely reports in a fast-paced environment. Think analytically about news sources, providing insightful commentary that applauds or criticizes developments within the industry. Contribute reliably and consistently under tight deadlines. Input work into our in-house CMS according to our specific formatting and editorial guidelines. Coordinate closely with the editorial team for assignments and feedback. Experience and Skills Relevant experience in writing and editing technology news in the English language. Expert knowledge and broad familiarity with tech products, apps, and consumer electronics. Ability to think analytically and extract the "beating heart" of a story in a flash. Proficiency with SEO practices and experience using a custom CMS. Must be able to work reliably within a US Time Zone to ensure timely news coverage. A self-starter attitude with a passion for helping people get the most out of their technology.
