Malware Sample Analysis

Role Description This is a part-time remote role focused on malware sample analysis. Conduct reverse engineering and behavioral analysis on specific samples provided by the company and produce English technical reports that meet delivery standards (AI-generated content is not permitted).

Qualifications

• Master malware reverse engineering and the use of common reverse engineering tools (such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, x64dbg, and dnSpy).
• Ability to read and analyze code (C/C++, C#, Java, Go, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
• Research and Market Research skills to investigate emerging threats, track industry trends, and support threat intelligence initiatives.
• Competence in threat intelligence and OSINT analysis; familiarity with basic IOC/IOA extraction, TTP mapping, and threat intelligence correlation methods.
• Strong English technical writing skills, with the ability to independently produce clear, professional reports. (Certifications such as OSIR, OSDA, OSTH, OSCP, CDSA, SAL1, SAL2, or GIAC are highly desirable.)
