Our team leverages advanced technologies, including AI and automation, to drive efficiency, reduce complexity, and deliver timely, high-quality insights across core controllership activities such as daily accounting operations, financial close, and reporting.
As a Manager in our Managed Services Delivery practice, you will play a key role in executing client engagements, designing scalable solutions, and driving meaningful improvements across finance operations. You will work directly with client stakeholders while leading team members through day-to-day delivery and helping transform finance operations into more efficient and strategic capabilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage the execution of Managed Services engagements across assessment, transition, and ongoing delivery operations.
- Serve as a key client partner throughout outsourced controllership and finance-transformation initiatives.
- Lead day-to-day delivery across core controllership activities, including accounting operations, financial close, and reporting.
- Drive process improvements across procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and record-to-report functions.
- Collaborate directly with client leadership to address complex accounting challenges and develop actionable solutions.
- Design and implement dashboards and data models to support operational and financial reporting, KPI tracking, and management insights.
- Leverage finance technologies, AI, automation, and reporting tools to build scalable delivery solutions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional CFGI and client teams to support seamless execution and client satisfaction.
- Review team deliverables and provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.
- Stay current on relevant finance, accounting, operational, and technology developments that may inform client solutions.
- Participate in recruiting, client relationship development, practice initiatives, and business development efforts.
What you must have:
- 5–8 years of experience in public accounting, accounting advisory, outsourced accounting, managed services, and/or corporate accounting or finance, including at least 1 year of public accounting audit experience.
- Experience leading accounting or finance workstreams involving financial close, financial reporting, general accounting operations, or related controllership activities.

- Experience leading month-end and year-end close activities and broader general accounting operations.
- Experience improving procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, or related finance processes.
- Experience managing client-facing engagements or workstreams and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Experience addressing complex accounting issues and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Experience designing operational or financial reporting, dashboards, data models, or KPI frameworks.
- Experience supervising, reviewing, or developing junior accounting or finance professionals.
Nice to have:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, MBA, CFA, or another relevant professional credential.
- Experience with finance technologies, ERP platforms, data visualization, AI, automation, or workflow tools.
- Experience in a managed services, outsourced controllership, shared-services, or finance-transformation environment.
- Experience supporting proposals, client expansion opportunities, recruiting, or other business-development initiatives.
