About the company

Our client is an established organisation with a multi-site operation and a strong focus on financial performance, operational efficiency and continuous improvement. You’ll join a collaborative finance team that supports key business decisions and drives results.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and business unit reporting, including variance analysis
• Handle journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting
• Analyse actuals vs budget, spot trends and flag improvement opportunities
• Lead cost analysis and support cost control initiatives
• Partner with non-finance stakeholders, offering clear financial insight
• Support pricing applications and commercial proposals
• Improve reporting, processes and systems
• Support internal and external audits

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
• 1-2 years’ PQE
• Management accounting and financial reporting experience
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis skills
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to spot key business drivers
• Excellent communicator, proactive and detail-oriented.
