We are looking for a talented and driven Manager to join our dynamic team at EXL Service.com. The Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the financial and administrative operations within the Insurance L&A department. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to lead and inspire a team towards excellence. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in similar roles and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices. Lead and manage a team of professionals in the SGU_F&A Ops department, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations. Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including financial reporting and analysis. Implement and maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams. Provide strategic guidance and support to the department, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing. Ensure timely and accurate record-keeping, maintaining a high level of data integrity and confidentiality. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for process optimization. Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies and ensure seamless operations. A minimum of 9-12 years of experience in a similar managerial role, preferably in the financial services industry. Proficiency in accounting principles, financial analysis, and closing processes. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a track record of meeting tight deadlines. A proactive and analytical mindset, with a problem-solving approach to complex issues. Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision. Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including ERP systems and financial reporting software. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred. Certifications such as CPA, CFA, or MBA are highly advantageous. A proven track record of successful team management and a strong professional network.
