Account Reconciliation Manager – Roles & Responsibilities Lead and manage the account reconciliation team, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time. Oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliations and review high-risk or complex accounts. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements. Monitor and resolve aged reconciling items by coordinating with cross-functional teams. Support the month-end close by ensuring reconciliations are completed within agreed timelines. Analyze reconciliation metrics, identify trends, and report key risks to management. Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, AP, AR, Tax, and Internal/External Audit teams. Coach and develop team members while managing performance and workload effectively. Ensure accurate financial reporting by maintaining strong governance, controls, and reconciliation quality.
