THE OPPORTUNITY
The Business Operations Lead helps leaders turn priorities into action and make informed decisions about performance, investments, and resources. The role brings together program management, financial planning, and business analytics, with the focus flexing based on the needs of the organization. This colleague will create structure around complex work, connect insights across teams, and help ensure key initiatives are delivered with clear ownership, disciplined execution, and measurable outcomes.
Lead planning and execution for complex, cross-functional initiatives, establishing clear milestones, ownership, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
Establish effective operating rhythms and governance that help leaders prioritize work, track progress, resolve issues, and make timely decisions.
Partner with Finance and business leaders on budgets, forecasts, investment planning, resource allocation, and ongoing financial performance.
Develop financial analyses and business cases that clarify tradeoffs and support investment and prioritization decisions.
Define and track meaningful performance measures; build reporting and analyses that highlight trends, risks, opportunities, and business drivers.
Translate financial, operational, and performance data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for leaders.
Create concise, executive-ready updates that communicate progress, decisions, risks, and areas requiring attention.
Build strong partnerships across functions and influence outcomes by connecting strategy, resources, execution, and measurement.
Identify opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, and improve how the organization operates.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in business operations, program management, finance, strategy, analytics, or related work that demonstrates comparable skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex work across multiple teams, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
Strong financial and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and explain the business implications.
Experience developing plans, performance reporting, financial analyses, or decision-support materials for leaders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex information clear and actionable.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and bring structure to evolving or ambiguous business needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting a large, global, or highly matrixed organization.
Experience with annual planning, forecasting, investment governance, portfolio management, or enterprise-wide initiatives.
Advanced experience with financial modeling, data visualization, reporting, and presentation tools.
Experience using data to identify performance drivers, develop recommendations, and measure business outcomes.
Experience preparing materials and recommendations for senior leaders.
