The Business Services Project Management Department is staffed by a number of project leaders and program managers. The department helps project sponsors, project teams, sector managers, IT partners and external suppliers develop and deliver projects. These projects cover various aspects of the business portfolio, such as business services, capital markets, data and analytics and digital services. As Manager, Business Services Project Management, you act as a delivery manager, ensuring accountability and collaborative leadership in the execution and delivery of your sector’s projects and programs. You accelerate the delivery of value and the realization of benefits for our members and clients. You’ll work in direct and matrix management mode in this role. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Be responsible for delivering your department’s projects while meeting business objectives, deadlines and budgets
- Maintain a high-level view of the projects and programs under your responsibility, help monitor overall delivery performance and highlight risks, issues, dependencies and coordination or escalation needs for your sector
- Coach and manage the performance of various levels of project leaders and implement individual skills development plans for your team
- Collaborate with key managers, project sponsors and delivery teams (including suppliers) and develop partnerships with IT and business sector teams to optimize solution development and rollout
- Make sure that conditions are always optimal for successful execution throughout project or program lifecycles to accelerate the delivery of value and the realization of benefits for members and clients
- Ensure best practices are applied and help to improve practices to maximize the achievement of commitments and speed up delivery
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the sector’s business reality, strategic objectives, priorities, requirements, challenges and issues
- Contribute to the effective planning and launch of projects and suggest the delivery approach that’s best suited for the context and business strategies
- Support the administrative unit’s business plan by managing individual and team performance
- Adopt management and communication practices to facilitate change management, attract and retain talent, develop skills, engage teams and promote diversity, while upholding the organization’s values

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of nine years of relevant experience, including five years in a management role
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Project or program management experience, primarily in a context of cross-sector delivery in a complex environment
- PMI licence
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
