About the role:

As AUTODOC continues its rapid expansion across European markets, our financial landscape is becoming increasingly dynamic and complex. To maintain our high growth trajectory and support our evolving digital architecture, we are continuously transforming our financial processes, implementing cutting-edge systems, and elevating our accounting standards across the organisation.

To help us with achieving this, we are hiring a Manager Finance Consulting (m/f/d) to join our team in Berlin, at our Headquarter-Location, as an Inhouse Consultant. Reporting directly to the VP of Accounting, Reporting and Tax, you act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert across a rich variety of high-impact projects. In this role, you lead end-to-end process transformations, drive cross-departmental initiatives like ERP implementations, and ensure accounting excellence under both HGB and IFRS. You take ownership of complex technical accounting topics, streamline data analytics, and shape governance policies that directly influence business decisions. This position is a perfect launchpad for an ambitious consulting professional seeking influential, hands-on work with direct exposure to executive management.

What you will do:

• Lead Cross-Departmental Finance Transformation: Manage strategic projects across departments, define technical process requirements, and partner with IT to implement modern ERP systems and digital solutions.
• Optimize & Automate Financial Processes: Design, introduce, and enhance finance workflows with a focus on automation, digitalization, and high-quality data analysis.
• Drive Accounting & Audit Excellence: Own end-to-end inventory valuation, COGS, and quarterly impairment calculations while coordinating internal and external audits across complex HGB and IFRS topics.
• Provide Expert Advisory: Serve as the first point of contact for operational Accounting teams, translating complex accounting treatments into actionable technical requirements.
• Enable Governance & Decision-Making: Develop financial policies, prepare dependent company reports (Section 312 AktG), compile management presentations, and deliver training across teams.

What you bring to the role:

• Educational Background: University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Consulting & Industry Experience: Several (5+) years of professional experience in accounting and financial advisory for industry clients, ideally gained within a renowned consultancy/auditing firm ("Big Four" or equivalent), established scale-up, or fast-growing corporate environment.
• Technical Accounting Knowledge: Distinctive, hands-on expertise in accounting operations following HGB and IFRS standards, alongside an architectural, analytical mindset and familiarity with standard process streams.
• Project & Change Management: Proven experience driving complex, cross-functional projects, managing stakeholders, and leveraging change management principles with an autonomous, solution-oriented approach.
• Systems & Digital Affinity: Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and LucaNet, familiarity with analysis or documentation tools (Jira, Confluence, Signavio, Power Pivot, or SQL), and a proactive drive to explore AI-based workflows.
• Language & Communication: Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken), coupled with clear communication and team-oriented collaboration skills.
