Manager in SEO/AI Discoverability – Enterprise Advisory
As a Manager in SEO/AI Discoverability at Credera, you will help enterprise organizations adapt to how people discover, research, and evaluate brands across traditional search and AI-powered experiences such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and Perplexity. Working across search, content, digital strategy, analytics, technology, and customer experience, you will analyze user intent and brand discoverability, identify unmet audience needs, and translate insights into enterprise strategies and targeted content, experience, and page-level improvements.
What You’ll Do
Understand User Intent & Discoverability
- Analyze user needs, search behavior, prompts, queries, and decision journeys to determine audience intent and information needs.
- Evaluate client visibility across organic search, AI-powered search, and large language models.
- Assess branded and non-branded intent, competitive visibility, citations, mentions, recommendations, source authority, and third-party influence.
- Identify gaps where client experiences do not meet audience needs or competitors and third-party sources provide stronger answers.
- Determine how content, technical, authority, and experience factors affect discoverability.
Translate Insights Into Strategy & Action
- Translate user intent and discoverability insights into prioritized recommendations spanning marketing strategy, technology, measurement, operating models, and page-level content and experiences.
- Identify opportunities to improve high-value content and decision-support experiences, including product information, FAQs, comparisons, and educational content.
- Recommend improvements to content architecture, customer journeys, taxonomy, internal linking, structured information, and digital experiences.
- Develop strategic roadmaps that balance near-term optimization with long-term transformation, helping clients align marketing priorities, digital investments, and ways of working with changing discovery behavior.
Lead Client Workstreams & Enable Execution
- Lead client workstreams and multidisciplinary teams from analysis through recommendations and delivery, setting direction, delegating work, reviewing outputs, coaching contributors, and building stakeholder alignment.
- Turn ambiguous business questions into structured hypotheses, analyses, workplans, and actionable next steps.
- Present complex findings and recommendations as clear business implications and implementation requirements for working teams, senior executives, and technical and non-technical audiences.
- Connect SEO and AI discoverability strategy to marketing, content, product, UX, analytics, engineering, and technology priorities, identifying the cross-team dependencies needed to move work forward.
Measure, Optimize & Grow the Capability
- Develop measurement approaches that connect organic search and AI discoverability performance—including visibility, referrals, citations, mentions, recommendations, competitive presence, user intent, and traffic—to explain changes, identify drivers, and recommend actions.
- Support recurring performance reporting and ongoing optimization programs.
- Contribute to proposals, pitches, POVs, Scopes of Work, and new-business opportunities.
- Build the AI discoverability capability by developing repeatable methodologies, frameworks, tools, training, and best practices informed by evolving platforms, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome candidates from SEO, content, digital strategy, analytics, digital experience, product, or consulting backgrounds. The ideal candidate brings strong digital fundamentals and client advisory skills, with relevant experience in areas such as enterprise or technical SEO, AI search/GEO, structured data, and customer journey analysis.
Expertise across every area is not required.
Strong candidates will bring:
- Experience using audience needs, search intent, and customer journeys to shape strategy and recommendations.
- Ability to translate business and marketing priorities into content, page, and experience improvements.
- Experience solving digital, search, content, marketing, or customer experience challenges in complex organizations.
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals, including content optimization, crawlability, indexation, information architecture, and measurement.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize digital analytics, search, competitive intelligence, and other qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate strategic conversations and build alignment among senior executives and technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems, lead project teams or workstreams, and independently move work forward.
- Curiosity about AI, emerging technology, and changing discovery behavior, with the ability to adapt as the field evolves.
