The Role: 11:11 Systems is looking for an experienced Manager, Infrastructure Deployment to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure deployment work across the company's global data center footprint. This role manages deployment priorities, schedules, dependencies, and delivery standards while coordinating Data Center Infrastructure, Procurement, Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Architecture, Network Infrastructure, Service Delivery, Operations, vendors, and business stakeholders. The role contributes to reliable service delivery and scalable growth by improving deployment governance, team capability, documentation quality, and operational readiness. Success requires people leadership, strong infrastructure and data center knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to create clarity and accountability across distributed teams. This is a full-time hybrid role, based in the United Kingdom, reporting to the Senior Director of Infrastructure Deployment and Data Center Management . Responsibilities: Lead and develop the Infrastructure Deployment team, setting priorities, clarifying ownership, coaching team members, managing performance, supporting professional growth, and building team capacity as deployment demand scales. Ensure customer success in the delivery of dedicated private cloud infrastructure hardware, from requirements validation through provisioning, configuration, and production handoff. Oversee hardware component compatibility validation and bill of materials accuracy for compute, storage, and network platforms prior to order placement and deployment. Oversee infrastructure host provisioning, configuration, and provisioning automation, driving toward repeatable, tooling-supported deployment rather than manual build effort. Coordinate deployment activity across US, EMEA, and APAC data center locations, aligning team schedules and providing reasonable working-hour overlap with regional teams, data center partners, and carriers in other time zones. Own infrastructure deployment projects from planning and kickoff through procurement, site readiness, installation, provisioning, validation, production handoff, and closeout. Coordinate project requirements and delivery schedules across Data Center Infrastructure, Procurement, Cloud Infrastructure, Network Infrastructure, Operations, Finance, vendors, and other stakeholders. Manage critical-path activities, risks, issues, resource constraints, change requests, and dependencies to keep deployments on schedule and to standard. Review and approve deployment plans, bills of materials, rack elevations, cable matrices, installation documentation, acceptance criteria, and operational handoff materials. Confirm readiness of compute, storage, network, power, space, cabling, remote-hands, and data center resources before scheduled deployment windows. Ensure DCIM and infrastructure tracking systems are accurate and current, including asset, location, connectivity, configuration, and lifecycle information. Establish consistent deployment standards, metrics, reporting, and operating procedures; identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to communicate status, resolve escalations, manage expectations, and deliver a high-quality customer and business outcome. Support product enablement and major site deployments, including limited travel to data centers or client locations when required. Manage power and capacity risk across the data center footprint, including monitoring cabinet utilization against warning and critical thresholds, maintaining power budgets for new deployments, and escalating constraints before they limit delivery. Participate in the leadership on-call rotation, serving as the escalation point for after-hours Data Center Infrastructure and Infrastructure Deployment issues and coordinating engineering and vendor response through resolution. Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11's Code of Business Ethics and Company Values Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements Additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or University degree in information technology, engineering, project management, data center operations, or a related field; or equivalent related work experience required. 5+ years of experience in infrastructure deployment, data center operations, technical project delivery, or a related service-provider or enterprise technology environment required. 2+ years of experience leading, supervising, or managing technical teams required. Required: Strong knowledge of physical infrastructure deployment, including compute, storage, network hardware, rack-and-stack, cabling, provisioning, testing, and operational handoff. Required: Ability to manage deployment plans, bills of materials, rack elevations, cable matrices, readiness checks, project schedules, risks, and delivery documentation. Preferred: Hands-on or leadership experience with enterprise virtualization and converged infrastructure platforms such as VMware vSphere or VCF, Cisco UCS Preferred: Familiarity with DCIM or infrastructure-management tools such as NetBox , Nlyte , or comparable platforms. Preferred: Experience with automation or scripting tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Ansible. Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
