  • Own client engagement outcomes, including delivery quality, team performance, client satisfaction, scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and risk management.
  • Lead client workshops, discovery sessions, and executive presentations.
  • Build trusted relationships with client leaders and identify opportunities to deepen the partnership.

Solution Strategy and Design

  • Define and oversee the engagement strategy, framework, and solution architecture.
  • Design end-to-end marketing programs, MarTech strategies, operating models, and roadmaps aligned with business goals and the client’s marketing maturity.
  • Ensure functional and technical workstreams integrate into a cohesive solution.

Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop Consultants and Senior Consultants by setting clear expectations, delegating effectively, and providing regular feedback.
  • Partner with practice leadership on staffing and resourcing needs.
  • Foster a high-performing, inclusive team culture.

Practice and Business Development

  • Shape proposals, statements of work, RFP responses, and client pursuits.
  • Identify account expansion opportunities and help develop new offerings, particularly where marketing, customer data, and trust or privacy intersect.
  • Strengthen the practice through reusable assets, methodologies, thought leadership, recruiting, and community initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Professional Background

  • 6–10 years of consulting experience or 10+ years of progressive experience in product leadership, marketing technology, technology sales, or operations, with exposure to marketing, customer engagement, loyalty, or digital commerce.

  • Demonstrated success leading client engagements from concept through execution with accountability for outcomes.
  • Experience building and developing cross-functional teams in entrepreneurial or high-growth environments.
  • Preferred: Experience in regulated or trust-sensitive domains, such as security, identity, payments, data privacy, or compliance.

Functional MarTech Expertise

  • Expertise designing customer-facing strategies, programs, and operating processes across marketing, loyalty, commerce, or digital products.
  • Ability to translate business strategy into operating model recommendations, capability roadmaps, and outcome-based plans.
  • Understanding of MarTech and customer data ecosystems, including identity, data governance, privacy, and integration, or a demonstrated ability to build expertise quickly in a new technology landscape.

Core Competencies

  • Strong executive communication skills and confidence presenting to vice president– and C-suite–level stakeholders.
  • Strategic, hands-on leadership with the ability to manage competing priorities, create structure, and act decisively in ambiguous environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership presence and team-building ability.
  • Commercial acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to shape pursuits, grow client accounts, and translate capabilities into client value.
