Role Summary: The Manager, Strategy & Investor Management, plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and governance of loan servicing systems across the organization. This position provides oversight of system transactions, data quality, loan onboarding, and control frameworks, supporting accurate reporting for both balance sheet and investor portfolios. The role leads a small team, owns key operational processes, and partners closely with Investor Reporting, Finance, and Technology to drive operational excellence, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement. What You’ll Do: Lead, develop, and manage a team of Analysts, setting priorities, overseeing workflow, and ensuring strong execution, accountability, and quality control. Approve and provide oversight of complex non-cash transactions and system postings, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls. Own governance of system data changes, approving requests and ensuring audit-ready documentation, data integrity, and consistency across servicing platforms. Oversee loan boarding processes for Agency and Non-Agency loans, ensuring alignment with investor requirements and internal standards; implement and maintain quality control frameworks for loan setup. Partner cross-functionally with Investor Reporting and Finance to resolve discrepancies, support period-end close, and ensure accurate financial and investor reporting. Act as primary escalation point for system issues, data discrepancies, and reconciliation challenges, driving timely and effective resolution. Maintain and enhance control environment, ensuring strong documentation, audit readiness, and compliance with internal policies and external requirements. Identify and lead resolution of process gaps and control weaknesses, driving root cause analysis and implementing sustainable improvements. Provide reporting and insights to leadership, highlighting operational risks, trends, and performance metrics. Drive process and system enhancements, partnering with Technology and stakeholders on workflow optimization, automation, and data integrity initiatives. Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in commercial loan servicing, investor reporting, McCracken Strategy, or related operations. Familiarity with federal, state, and local affordable housing programs preferred. Experience with Agency and complex capital source loan setup and servicing requirements. Demonstrated people management experience, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop team members. Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, drive outcomes, and operate with a high degree of ownership and accountability. Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing complex system transactions and data. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across business and technical teams. High attention to detail with a focus on controls, risk mitigation, and data integrity. Ability to travel as needed. Periodic travel to our Manhattan or Chappaqua, NY office may be required. The salary range is $115,000 – $130,000, dependent on experience and market factors.
