Community Housing Partners (CHP) is hiring a Manager of Contracting to lead our Weatherization Project Management team and oversee subcontracted home repair work that supports participation in CHP Energy Solutions' weatherization programs. To learn more about CHP's employee benefits, visit: www.communityhousingpartners.org/benefits What You'll Do Lead the Team Lead, coach, and develop Project Managers and interns. Manage workloads, performance expectations, employee development, and succession planning. Support team members in resolving customer, contractor, and project challenges. Keep Projects Moving Develop production forecasts, contractor capacity plans, and project completion estimates. Prioritize subcontracted work to meet production goals and program deadlines. Ensure projects meet work specifications, permitting, inspection, documentation, and funder requirements. Manage Contractor Performance Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors. Monitor contractor production, quality, responsiveness, compliance, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Coach contractors and implement corrective action plans when performance expectations are not met. Support contractor onboarding, agreements, and work authorizations. Use Data to Improve Results Maintain accurate project, contractor, production, and financial data in Dynamics 365 and other systems. Track performance through dashboards, reports, forecasts, and key metrics. Analyze trends, denied applications, remittances, audits, and quality findings to identify root causes and improve processes. Support Financial Performance Assist with budgeting, forecasting, expenditure planning, and variance analysis. Monitor spending and identify opportunities to improve operational and financial results. What You'll Bring High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in Energy Efficiency, Construction, Project Management, or a related field preferred. 3+ years of project management experience preferred. 3+ years of experience in construction, weatherization, program management, contracting, or a related trade environment. Leadership experience managing employees, contractors, projects, or operational programs. Working knowledge of construction trades, permitting, inspections, codes, and work specifications. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance metrics. Strong problem-solving, analytical, organization, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business systems; Dynamics 365 experience is a plus. Valid driver's license and driving record that meet CHP's insurability requirements. Schedule & Travel Primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Hybrid position with regular in-person work at CHP facilities and weatherization project sites. Local and out-of-town travel of up to 50% is required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be needed. Remote work may be available based on operational needs and demonstrated job performance.
