Weekends and evenings possible to support course implementation, including during summer, spring, and fall professional learning institutes and enrollment deadlines Purpose The Manager of Partnership Development leads and supports efforts of scaling and expansion of OnRamps through effective partnership and engagement with K12, higher education, and agency outreach and implementation of development strategy in close collaboration with the Director and Executive Director. Responsibilities Develops, manages, and evaluates identified strategies and practices as the primary client relationship manager for potential, new, and existing partnerships. Increases and supports the implementation and success of OnRamps through regional partnership management, with individual contribution of research and management of special projects, selective networks and collaboratives, and complex partnerships aligned with OnRamps strategic plan. Manages and evaluates targets and strategies for accomplishing acquisition, retention, growth, and outcome targets for partnerships. Maintains documentation of targets, activities, and outcomes, and provides regular reports of progress and makes recommendations in support of sustainability, growth, and goal attainment. Creates forms, tools and guidelines to capture required documentation and streamline communication. Represents the organization at professional meetings and conferences. Applies market trends to identify opportunities to incorporate trends and shape strategies. Mentors, coaches, and trains assigned staff to calibrate on departmental expectations. Analyzes data, evaluates, and documents outcomes through recurrent issue tracking and reporting; utilizes data to make recommendations and applies continuous improvement principles to areas of responsibility in support of sustainability, growth, effectiveness, and goal attainment with assigned partners. Documents and monitors caseload and effective communications with new and existing partners using identified Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems to inform data-driven systems. Leads and engages in communication to support partner growth, success, and sustainability through ongoing interactions and development of strategies to support implementation. Required Qualifications Master’s degree in education, higher education, policy, or closely related field. Seven or more years of leadership experience in K12 or higher education environments, including at least three years in a leadership or management role. Experience in scaled partnership development and outreach in K12 or higher education environments. Demonstrated success in leadership of a team. Experience in working within the Texas education system. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications Doctoral degree in education, higher education, or closely related field. Ten or more years of leadership experience spanning both K12 and higher education environments. Significant experience leading large-scale partnership strategy, outreach, or business development efforts. Demonstrated success overseeing complex initiatives, and achieving organizational goals. Salary $80,000 + depending on qualifications Working Conditions Eligible for fully remote work in Austin, Houston, or San Antonio areas. Position requires up to 20% travel throughout the state of Texas. Weekends and evenings possible to support course implementation, including during summer, spring, and fall professional learning institutes and enrollment deadlines.
