Manager of Statutory Audits

Description Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager of Statutory Audits. This newly created position is a critical position within our Global Finance team, charged with overseeing and managing the external statutory audit function in multiple countries such as The U.S., UK, Netherlands and Germany. You will ensure that financial statements are accurate, compliant with regulations, and properly audited. You will be expected to take the lead on audits, collaborating with Controllers, various departments internally to gather support for audit procedures, and the external auditors. Responsibility for all legal entity balance sheet account reconciliations will fall under you. A proactive, diligent, detail driven, excellent communicator and problem solver are key to achieving success in this role. What You’ll Do As the Manager of Statutory Audits, you will: Lead and manage local statutory audit engagements in multiple jurisdictions from planning to completion. Own the audit request listing or PBC Prepare audit support as requested by the local auditor Ensure adherence to internal and external auditing standards. Prepare and review financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and compliance. Communicate effectively with all internal stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough and efficient audits Oversee the monthly balance sheet account reconciliation process that uses NetSuite  What We’re Looking For: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Chartered Accountant (CA) Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, preferably in a Big Four firm with management experience Industry experience is preferred, but not required Proven experience in managing and leading audit engagements and teams NetSuite experience is a must  Skills Excellent analytic skills and problem solver that not only offers solutions, but can also execute a successful resolution A leader & collaborator willing to work with colleagues across 20+ countries and even more cultures and personalities Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles. Versatility that combines a savvy business guru with an accountant’s eye for detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
