- Lead and mentor a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners
- More balance, more flexibility. A work-from-home model designed around real life.
- A salary package that values what you bring and the impact you create.
- Based anywhere in WA
Transform Life is looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to help lead and develop our Western Australian team.
This role combines clinical leadership and practitioner development, with a smaller local caseload to keep you connected to practice.
You’ll have the opportunity to shape how the team works, support practitioners through complex cases and contribute ideas as our WA service continues to grow.
You’ll be joining an established team of eight practitioners, supported by experienced Senior PBS Leaders, a Reports Review team and our National PBS Manager, who is based in WA.
What you can expect
- Flexibility: Work from home, with autonomy to organise your work around your life and local client needs.
- A manageable balance: A small caseload that allows time for mentoring, supervision and team leadership.
- Support to grow: Ongoing Leadership Excellence training and professional development, including progression towards Advanced or Specialist BSP level.
- Recognition: Competitive base salary, quarterly bonuses and monthly incentives.
- A voice in how we work: Contribute ideas, influence service development and help shape the future of PBS at Transform Life.
- Connection without being office-based: Regular team communication, fortnightly leadership meetings and in-person catch-ups.
Our 2026 nomination for Excellence in Allied Health at the WA Disability Support Awards recognises the work already happening across our team. You’ll be building on that foundation, not starting from scratch.
What you’ll do
- Coach and support team members through effective planning, accountability and sustainable workloads
- Mentor, supervise and coach practitioners to build confidence and clinical capability.
- Guide complex cases, risk considerations and clinical decision-making.
- Support onboarding and the development of new team members.
- Identify practice gaps, set clear expectations and address challenges constructively.
- Build a connected, collaborative and accountable team across a geographically dispersed workforce.
- Contribute to leadership discussions and improvements in service delivery.
What you’ll bring
You’re a confident, approachable practitioner who enjoys helping others develop. You can work independently while staying connected to your team, navigate complex situations calmly and balance support with accountability.
You’ll also bring:
- NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission registration as a Proficient or higher Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- Experience mentoring, supervising or leading others or demonstrated readiness for a step into leadership.
- Operational skills and ability to coach others on improvements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in disability, allied health, mental health, education, social work, or a related field.
