ABOUT THE ROLE

The Assets & Operations (A&O) department is responsible for preserving the asset integrity of our portfolio of towers. This requires strong alignment of processes related to engineering, inspection, site access controls and monitoring, and site repairs. A significant amount of tasks associated with these activities are completed annually and thoughtful design is required to operate efficiently and effectively, in close coordination with the underlying standards that provide for safety, compliance, and data integrity.

The Manager, Process Improvement will lead development and implementation of process improvement efforts within the department. They will be charged with identifying opportunities to automate operations and simplify workflows, thereby reducing steps and handoffs. They will work alongside leaders within the department to identify measurable outcomes and champion solutions that achieve these goals. The Manager, Process Improvement will also ensure teammates adopt changes by driving effective change management and communication. Supported by one or more direct reports, they may also provide guidance or direction on project work to teammates and may mentor and train staff in the complexities of assigned work.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Leads the implementation of process improvement projects to achieve desired results
• Innovatively design process solutions by analyzing data and evaluating key business components, while ensuring solutions are rightsized for the problem and within the constraints of time, scope, and budget
• Collaborate with many stakeholders to ensure a common understanding and bring the necessary skills and expertise to the improvement process
• Enact lasting changes to how asset integrity is preserved by utilizing a consultative approach to department leadership that focuses on defining and measuring operational value delivered through people, tasks, and systems.
• Provide guidance and expertise to supported teams on process, leveraging unique cross-functional vantage point and continuous improvement skillset to consult on problems, risks, and opportunities
• Determines, allocates, and directs all process improvement project team resources
• Spend time with teams across the organization to understand existing process and support them in identifying and understanding process improvement opportunities
• Demonstrated ability to successfully resolve situations that are ambiguous, broadly defined, complex, diverse, and unprecedented

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field
• PMP certification or Lean Six Sigma preferred

Experience Qualifications

• Five (5)+ years’ experience in leading large scale, complex process improvement projects
• 2-5+ years of supervisory experience preferred
• Expert knowledge of and practice of the five project management process groups
• Familiarity with site operations standards and practices, and cross-functional experience at Crown Castle is preferred, not required

Direct Reports (if applicable): Business Analyst, Process Improvement I/II/III

Where You Will Work: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.

Compensation
The salary range offered for this position is $112400 - $154600 annually. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
