JOB SUMMARY:

This role will be responsible for the supply chain management activity in relation to RSR’s APAC client portfolio and

relationship management of RSR’s APAC suppliers and specific operating companies.

As part of the Extended SCM Leadership Team, this role will line manage and lead a number of suppliers in the

performance of these activities. This role will be responsible for ensuring suppliers have clear objectives, focused on

customer & the respective performance objectives are aligned to overall team strategy and have broader alignment

with the leadership team within the APAC & Global function.

For Client Delivery, this role will be responsible for ensuring that Platinum and Gold clients are provided a Supply

Chain service in line with the aforementioned service packages which they have contracted for with RSR.

For Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), this role will be responsible for deploying the agreed supplier

relationship management strategy on the specified grouping of suppliers (and operating companies), and for

deploying the governance and management structure to ensure RSR is extracting the very best from these suppliers

to the benefit of RSR and its clients.

For both of SRM and Client Delivery, this role will be responsible for ensuring the provision of ‘Data as a service’ to its

stakeholder group - utilising RSR’s global supplier spend to drive data insights which feed business strategy (including

Wallet Share), client problem solving, supplier value and commercial benefit to RSR and its clients.

This role will be responsible for working with the Implementations and Operations tower to ensure that RSR

preferred suppliers (including operating companies) are promoted to clients as part of Supplier Strategy

conversations during the Discovery Phase of client implementations.

This role will be responsible for working with the SCM Implementations and Operations tower to monitor delivery

against relevant streams of activity being delivered by SCM Operations, and to support delivery on a roadmap of

operations projects and initiatives to continually improve and build upon existing SCM operations.

With regards to both existing and new Clients, this role will partner with RSR leaders in Sales, Solution Design, SP360

and Operations to ensure alignment with key business functions on all relevant matters relating to preferred suppliers

and SCM delivery on Platinum and Gold client accounts.

This role will support sales processes to ensure clients are aware of the Supply Chain value proposition for ongoing

supply chain support and how RSR’s preferred supply base can be utilised to solve client problems.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

● Helping define organizational objectives in partnership with the Global SCM Leadership Team, key business

leaders, clients and suppliers, and creating team strategy, policy and improvement programs accordingly.

● Responsible for delivering ‘Data as a service’ in relation to Clients - utilising RSR’s global

supplier spend to drive data insights which feed business strategy, client problem solving,

supplier value and commercial benefit to RSR and its client.

● Responsible for all Supply Chain activities in relation to supplier relationship management of

identified RSR suppliers.

● Responsible for ongoing client delivery for ‘platinum’ and ‘gold’ package clients.

● Building strategic relationships with identified suppliers to ensure RSR is able to draw out the

very best from these suppliers to help fulfill client requirements.

skills and the ability to break down complex topics into easy to understand segments.

● Partner with Sales to ensure RSR Supply Chain value proposition is communicated to clients during the sales

process and that the applicable Supply Chain service package is defined in client contract and taken into

account for resourcing considerations for ‘client run’ obligations.

● Partner with Operations to ensure alignment on client management roles and responsibilities in a post go

live environment for platinum’ and ‘gold’ package clients, as well as continued partnership in the delivery of

client services.

EDUCATION:

● Bachelor’s degree in related field required

● Additional education strongly preferred

EXPERIENCE:

● 8+ years of experience in a FTSE 100 / Fortune 500 or equivalent setting

● Experience of effectively partnering with senior business leaders (up to MD level)

● Procurement / Supply Chain experience is an advantage

● Experience of working in Management Consulting or Professional Services is an advantage

● MSP experience is a preference but not a necessity

● Track record of developing strategic plans and successfully implementing

Requirements

● This role, unless located in Far East Asia, will also be required to support critical based projects / initiatives

where deemed relevant by their line manager

● Possess outstanding oral and written communication skills

● Ability to distill complex strategies and ideas into effective messaging across a spectrum of stakeholders,

including senior executives, business leaders and staff

● Strong track record and positive reputation to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal,

within and/or beyond their business area

● Effective problem solving, consulting and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain

relationships with all levels within the organization; excellent active listening skills

● Must be a team player and able to work with and through others

● Highly organized with an ability to work in a fast-paced, multi stakeholder environment and manage multiple

priorities

● Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills

● Experience working with a globally distributed team across multiple geographies and time zones

● Ensuring consistency and alignment with functional and divisional leaders and strategies

● Domestic, regional and long haul travel may be a requirement, but is not expected on a regular basis
