As the Manager of Strategy, Risk and Spatial Services, you'll play a key role in turning strategy into action and help to protect communities, natural environments and public assets. You will work at the intersection of strategy, science, and operations, providing critical insights that enhance bushfire and forest management. This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing team delivering innovative risk analysis and spatial services that support end-to-end planning. You will work closely with colleagues, partners and stakeholders to turn strategic priorities into action, support informed decision-making, and drive continuous improvement in how forest and fire management services are planned and delivered.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Qualification and/or experience related to biodiversity science, natural resource management, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation and/or risk analysis or a related field (desirable).

This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2027. The work location for this position is flexible by negotiation within Region, preferred Traralgon, Bairnsdale or Orbost with hybrid work arrangements available.
